Co-Founder, Principal

Two important lessons can be learned while growing up in a west Texas oil town: there is no substitute for hard work, and proper planning through good times can see you through economically challenging times. These two principles have had a great impact on me personally and professionally.

As an investment advisor, I realize how hard our clients work to achieve their wealth. With sound investment advice, I can help them preserve and grow this wealth. Investing will always involve risk, and being able to identify a risk and minimize it has become a driving force for me.

My greatest joy is helping others identify goals and then crafting a financial plan to help them achieve those goals. This is what led me to establish Steward Wealth Management. I wanted to work directly for my client, independent of third party influence, commissions and other conflicts of interest.

I am a graduate of the University of Texas at the Permian Basin with a degree in Accounting and Information Services. I also received my certificate in 1992 as a Certified Public Accountant. My wife and I along with our 3 children live in Colleyville, Texas, where we are active in our church and other local organizations.
